I’m Claire.
I live in Ponteland, Northumberland with my two precious children Owen and Grace and our (not so friendly) cat Millie. I enjoy nothing more than being surrounded by nature, if I get the chance I drag my gorgous partner Paul out walking, we have some favourite haunts, the Lakes, Bolam Lake and Paul’s beautiful village Wark to name a few. I love horses, have done so since being a pony mad little girl! Days ‘in and out’ with the kids are just the best – I love being Mummy.
My journey to become a full time hair and makeup artist started not so long ago……when back in 2018 I took a leap of faith and decided to start planning how to leave my well paid 9-5 corporate estate agency position.
With the dream of setting up my very own Bridal Hair And Makeup business. I was consumed with desire to do more, something I felt passionate about, a job that gave me freedom and that I was incredibly proud of. I threw everything into trusting in myself, my ability and my journey and now, I find myself here. My business is flourishing, I wake up everyday and can’t wait to get to work.
I love everything about my job, nothing pleases me more than meeting and helping the amazing women have the Wedding experience they deserve filled with love and lots of laughter.
My diary is now booked up not just months, but years in advance and I am every ready, with my happy, smiling face and an ever growing kit full of cruelty free and vegan friendly hair and makeup products. I am a true professional, with high standards (the remains of my corporate management background) providing a service to my clients that they will fondly remember is at the heart of my business.
My makeup style is natural, effortless and timeless. Glowing, flawless skin has become my signature style and I believe hair should be styled softly and not ‘stuck’ in place with heavy product. I want you to feel that you have invested in a makeup artist you trust and feel safe with and that you walk down the aisle feeling on top of the world and the very best version of you.
